Halloween 2009

Halloween night was a lot of fun.
George, Tanner, Eldon, Randi and Dave went to the Utes game - Go Utes!! 22-10

The rest of us along with the Halladays had a spooky Halloween party and went trick or treating. We had a frightfully yummy dinner, made some pumpkins and saw all sorts of goblins wandering around.

West Yellowstone '09

Our Trip to West Yellowstone...

We spent the last four days in beautiful West Yellowstone. We stayed at Dan and Pam's cabin in Island Park. The boys had fun fishing in the river using grasshoppers and worms as bait. They caught and released 16 fish! We all had fun riding the 4-wheelers up and down the trails. It was beautiful! Wild flowers were everywhere. On Thursday we went into the park. Our first stop was at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. We learned a lot about these amazing creatures. Once we were in the park, we saw a lot of the hot pots, Old Faithful, and some more incredible wildlife (see our slide show below). On our way home we stopped into Yellowstone Bear World. You can actually drive your car through a wildlife preserve and get up close and personal with bears through the protection of your car window. Unbelieveable! We had a great time!

We spent the weekend at Bear Lake. It was great to be with family and play in the beautiful water. We missed having Beeg with us :(
